She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael; her daughter Anne and her husband Jon Brand; her mother Janet Matteson; her siblings: Debbie Vojak, Danette and Jeff Johnson, Steve Matteson and Bridget O’Keefe; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Tim and Nancy Short, Cindy and Didi Afana, Rich Short and Pattiann Firmiss, and Mary Lousie and Carlos Guerrero.
Donna’s favorite occupation was being a mother; she was also a nurse and had a 15-year career in landscape design and management.
Donna loved the outdoors, playing the piano, spending time on the water, traveling, and maintaining her beautiful yard.
A time of visitation will be from 7-9 pm Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Gibson Christian Reformed Church, 6486 140th Ave, Holland.
