DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Matt Manning allowed seven runs over two and a third innings as the Detroit Tigers fell 9-3 to the Seattle Mariners at home Tuesday night.
Riley Greene tripled in a run for Detroit. George Kirby earned his sixth win after throwing five scoreless frames and striking out five.
Carlos Santana, Ty France, and Cal Raleigh each went deep for the Mariners.
The Tigers fall to 50-and-79. The two teams play again tonight, with the opening pitch at 7:10 p.m.
