Carolyn was a loving wife of 73 years to Gary, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her husband were founders of Van Hill Furniture. She served as an auxiliary member of Gideons International since 1987. She was a current member of Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Van Hill; son, Doug and Sally Van Hill; daughter, Deb and Ken Austhof; daughter, Kathy and Tom Timmer; son, Jeff and Sheila Van Hill; daughter, Evonne and John Byma; daughter, Barb and Vern Mol; 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Haveman; sister, Wilma VanOeveren; sister-in-law, Bea Haveman; sister-in-law, Glenda Van Hill; sister-in-law, Daisy Asplund; and sister-in-law, Joan Van Hill.
Visitation with the family is 4:00-6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland, MI 49464.
Funeral services are at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church, 4055 112th Ave. Holland, MI 49424 with Rev. Brady Mulder officiating.
Burial to take place in Zeeland Cemetery.
