SPRINGFIELD, IL (WKZO-AM/FM) – The Illinois Lottery says a winning Mega Millions ticket worth over a billion dollars was sold in Illinois. The state lottery website says one ticket in Illinois matched all six Mega Millions numbers. It’s not certain where in Illinois the ticket was sold. The Mega Millions website says there was only one winner, and that 26 people matched five numbers to win a million dollars, including one ticket holder in Michigan.
The winning numbers were 13, 36, 45. 57. 67, Mega Ball 14.
