She is survived by her husband of 38 years Tom; her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren Tory and Lauren Buter (Brady and Lexie); her mother Lois Johnson; her siblings: Debra and Keith Huizenga, Karen and Tom Baar, Julie and Don Visser, Rosemary and John Klungle, Peggy and Steve Burkey; her brother-in-law Terry and Marlene Buter.
Jayne was preceded in death by her son Sean and her father Robert De Weerdt. Jayne graduated from Zeeland High School and Davenport College, she worked at Bell and Howell for 14 years, and then she worked at Impact Fab for 18 years.
Jayne’s greatest joy was being grandma to Brady and Lexie, she loved quilting and making blankets and crafts for her grandkids. Spending time at the family cottage in Irons and enjoying U of M football games brought great joy to Jayne.
The funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. A time of visitation will precede the service from 9:30-10:45 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society. www.yntemafh.com
