ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – The Allegan County Broadband Action Workgroup last week unanimously approved the request for proposals (RFP) from broadband providers to close the service gap for high speed internet in the county.
The RFP now goes to the Allegan County Board of Commissioners for consideration at its July 28 meeting before being released to providers for response. The Commissioners will be voting on whether to release it or not.
The document has been in preparation for several months by county staff and the Broadband Action Workgroup project manager Jill Dunham.
