Robert E. Elliott, age 73 of Holland, passed away at home Saturday, July 16, 2022, with his family by his side.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during Vietnam. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, the Holland VFW, the Marine Corp League, the American Legion, and the D.A.V. He worked as an engineer for most of his life and was proud to call himself a Mason.

Preceding him in death was his sister, Bonita Scripter.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Denise Elliott; Daughter Christina (Jeremy) Chernetski; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kira Jager (Jazlyn Culbertson), Zackery (Elizabeth) Lewellen (Chase Eugene Lewellen); brother Kenneth Root; many extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 12-2:00 pm prior to the service on Tuesday at Lakeshore Memorial.
