JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – A man from Eaton Rapids is listed in serious condition, after a vehicle driven by a teen from Saugatuck turned in front of his motorcycle Wednesday afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened around 12:20 p.m. on Byron Road east of 8th Avenue in Jamestown Township.
The vehicle driven by the 16-year-old female was traveling east on Byron Road and turned left into a private drive, failing to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist, who was ejected off his motorcycle.
The Sheriff’s Office says his injuries were serious and he was transported to a Grand Rapids hospital via Life EMS Ambulance
Byron Road was closed for a short time during the investigation.
