HOLLAAND, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – A local organization that works to address housing needs in Ottawa and Kent counties has been honored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), receiving the Secretary’s Award for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships.
Housing Next was one of seven partnerships recognized in the 2022 round of awards that were announced late last month
According to HUD, the Secretary’s Awards “recognize the partnership process and its impact as a community strategy to increase the quality of life for low- and moderate-income residents across all American geographies – urban, suburban, and rural.”
Housing Next is a partnership between Grand Haven and Holland/Zeeland’s community foundations and chambers of commerce, local units of government, Lakeshore Advantage, Ottawa County and the United Way of Ottawa and Allegan Counties.
