Momma was born in Tyler TX, on August 4, 1935, to Francisca and Santos Sanchez. She was a devout Catholic at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church of Holland MI.
Momma loved her church, family, holidays with family, family gatherings, and dancing. She loved to pass the time by making crafts. She enjoyed bingo nights with bingo family and friends, playing golf, and time at the beach.
Momma is preceded in death by her Son Benito, Mother Francisca and Father Santos Sanchez, Brother Ebaristo Sanchez of FL, Brother Jose Sanchez of Capac MI, Brother Santos Sanchez of Pontiac MI, Brother Felix Sanchez of Imlay City MI, Sister Dora Amador of OH, and Sister Micaela Rosas of Capac MI.
She is survived by her Son Alfredo Solano (Nora) of Holland MI, Daughter Olga Kelly (Larry) of IN, Daughter Grace Quintanilla (Lot) of Holland MI, Daughter Marcella Sanchez of Holland MI, Son Paul Solano (Dulce) of Holland MI, Son Benito Samuel Solano of Holland MI, Brother Jim Sanchez of Capac MI, Sister Dionicia Barron (Ray) of Holland MI, and Brother Peter Sanchez (Porfie) of Port Huron MI.
Momma passed her love, discipline, and faith to her 16 Grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren, and two Great-great Grandchildren who all adore, love, and will miss her tremendously.
Momma was loved by all who knew her and will be eternally missed. She was respected by all her family and friends. She loved her family unconditionally and it will forever be reciprocated. Nothing brought her more joy than her family, nor to her family than her dear sweet smile.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish, 171 West 13th Street, Holland MI 49423. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, July 12, 5-8 pm, with Wake Prayers at 7:30 pm, at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland MI 49464. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
