Heavy damage for home also used a child care facility in Olive Township

OLIVE TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – An Ottawa County home sustained heavy damage in an early Monday morning fire near 120th and Port Shelton in Olive Township.

Officials say that the family was on vacation and that the fire began in or near the garage area.

State records indicate the home was also an active child care facility named Bri’s Little Lambs.  It passed state inspections in April 2021.
