ZEELAND, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – Jeff Roon will soon be taking over as principal at Zeeland Public Schools’ Lincoln Elementary School.
School officials say Roon has been in education for over a decade as a special education teacher, coach, preschool director, and most recently as a building principal at Blue Star Elementary for Hamilton Community Schools.
Superintendent Dr. Mendham said of Roon, “Jeff’s relational personality and ability to connect with students, staff, and the community will encourage growth and engagement to enhance the thriving programs already in place at Lincoln.”
Roon said, “My family and I have lived in Zeeland for over ten years and love all that the community has to offer. Lincoln Elementary has provided so much to our own family already, and I am eager to meet all the students, staff, and families.”
