HOLLAND, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – With transportation issues a key focus for the organization, the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council will be hosting a special meeting with Michigan Department of Transportation Director Paul Ajegba for their board members next month.
The meeting will Wednesday, July 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the City of Holland City Hall, 270 South River Avenue.
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the Director to MACC board members and highlight the group’s priorities, future transportation projects, and urbanized growth.
According to the MACC website, “Transportation helps shape an area’s economic health and quality of life. Not only does the transportation system provide for the mobility of people and goods, it also influences patterns of growth and economic activity through accessibility to land.”
