Brian Curtis Gibson, 74, of Holland Michigan passed away on June 14. Born in LaGrange, Illinois, near Chicago, he was the youngest of four brothers.
Brian is remembered tenderly as a warm-hearted, loving man. He worked for many years in Holland and Grand Rapids in social service, helping the poor and underserved. Brian served faithfully for years as an elder at Lakeshore Vineyard Christian Fellowship and more recently worshiped at Manna Church in Holland.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl, sons Jonathan and Robert, daughter-in-law Laurie Ann (LA), and grandchildren Jireh, Casiana, and Lilly as well as his brother Norman and sister-in-laws Ruth and Mary Louise with several loving nieces and nephews. A devoted family man, Brian was always available to his loved ones.
Brian has graciously gifted himself to the anatomical donation program at the University of Michigan.
Memorial contributions in memory of Brian can be made to Hospice of Holland, or to the Van Andel Institute for Cancer Research.
An informal gathering and memorial service will be held at Manna Church 16 W 9th Street, Holland from 10 am to 1 pm, on June 25, 2022. The first half of the gathering will be an informal gathering time of remembrance, the second half will be a time for sharing and tribute.
