She worked for Lakewood Family Medicine for 30 years and was a member of the Pioneer Club.
Dawn is survived by her children, Denny and Megan Smith, and Monica Smith; 2 grandsons, Nathan and Caleb; brother, Todd and Amy Kauffman, sister, Carol Burke; Stepchildren, Rick and Robin Van Bragt, Heather and Mehedi Hassan; in-laws, Donald and Judy Van Bragt, Opal Van Bragt, Bonnie Van Bragt, Denise Van Bragt, Sharon Van Bragt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Van Bragt; mother, Vi (Schultz) Langan; siblings, William Palmer, and Christine White.
