HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 10, 2022) – Kollen Park is the place to be on Friday nights in Holland this summer as the City of Holland Parks & Recreation presents the annual Summer Concert Series. Grab your picnic basket and blanket and enjoy dinner on Lake Macatawa each week, while enjoying the diverse musical line-up, with a different musical guest & food truck featured each week. The Summer Concert Series will take place every Friday evening from June 17 through August 12 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
Friday, June 17, Funkle Jesse will be kicking off the Summer Concert Series in Holland, MI. Playing music that spans across generations, Funkle Jesse is a party band that will have you dancing all night to a mix of hits, songs you forgot you love, mashups, and medleys. Their always-expanding song selection pulls from a variety of genres, including pop, rock, oldies and Motown, classic rock, and current top 40 hits. Featuring a blend of voices, guitars, drums, keyboards, and saxophone, you won’t want to miss this night of music in the park featuring Funkle Jesse!
The Summer Concert Series features a wide variety of family-friendly performances, each taking place at the Kollen Park bandshell. Shows are free and begin at 6:30 PM and last approximately 2 hours. Indoor bathrooms, lots of parking, and a beautiful waterfront view make Kollen Park an ideal place to take in the sounds of summer.
