Sharon was born on September 1, 1960, to Norman & Joan Knorr in Kalamazoo, MI. After graduating from Fremont High School in 1978, she went on to study accounting at Valparaiso University. After graduation, she kicked off a 30+ career in accounting ending as a controller for Buffoli North America. In 2012, she met her future husband, Bob Brower and they wed in 2014. Sharon and Bob attended Fellowship Reformed Church in Hudsonville. Together they cherished their children, Valerie Smith, Leah Bajos, Erica Brower, Allison Oestreich, and Jordyn Gibbons. In her spare time, Sharon loved being outdoors in the yard, floating in the pool, loving on her dogs, going to various antique shops, cooking, Nascar, collecting Terry Ridlin pictures, playing cards, and being with her six grandkids. Pink became her favorite color after surviving breast cancer in 2017.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Brower, parents, Norman and Joan Knorr; brothers, Norman (Patty) Knorr, Jon (Michelle) Knorr, daughters, Valerie (Sam) Smith, Leah (Zack) Bajos, Erica Brower, Allison (Dorian) Oestreich, and Jordyn (Ryan) Gibbons.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 11:00 am Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426. In honor of Sharon’s favorite color, guests are encouraged to wear “Pink” to the service.
A time of visitation with the family is scheduled prior to the service starting at 10:00 am the same day.
Memorial contributions in Sharon’s honor may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Michigan.
