HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 9, 2022) – Day three of the 93rd Tulip Time Festival is on Monday.
Some of the day-long attractions include: Walking Tours at Window on the Waterfront Park; Tall Ship Dockside Tours at Boatwerk’s East Dock; a Quilt Show at Beechwood Church; the Tulip Immersion Garden at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds; the First Bloem Festival Artwork Exhibit at Warehouse 6; and the Zeeland Girl Exhibit at the Holland Armory.
This evening, the Carnival is in the parking lot of the Herringa Civic Center Place; there will be Dutch Dancing in Centennial park, and a Tulip Time Photo Walk at Windmill Island Gardens.
Gwen Auwerda, Executive Director of the festival, is a firm believer of the old adage that “many hands make light work.”
“We have had so many volunteers helping us get ready,” she said, “which has been such as blessing to us when we’re trying to put together so many events. Our two new Dutch exhibits that are here from the Netherlands has taken a lot of people to have it come together, and we’re thrilled and thankful for our volunteers that helped us do that.”
More information is here. The Tulip Time Festival runs through Sunday.
