Elaine was born in Corsica, South Dakota on February 4, 1943. She was a member of Fourteenth St. Christian Reformed Church. She was a daycare provider for over 30 years and then was employed at Lakeside Vista until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Gertrude Baron; brother, Lauren Baron; grandson, Taylor Baron; and son-in-law, Val Garza III.
She is survived by her son, Randy and Katie Baron (Colin Baron, Ellery and Alec Nyboer, Alec Baron, Antonela Baron, Emilia Baron, Evelyn Baron, Lucy Baron); daughter, Laurie and Jim Penninga (BJ Penninga, Rob Penninga, Sam Penninga, Samuel Penninga, Rachel Penninga, Alicia Penninga); sister, Gloria and Dale Rouwhorst; sister-in-law, Michele Baron; nieces, Melissa and Clare Langeland, Heather Rouwhorst, Kristin and Aaron Goodyke; and nephew, Mitchell Baron.
Memorial services are 11:00 am on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Fourteenth St. Christian Reformed Church, 14 West 14th St. Holland, MI 49423 officiated by Rev. Benj Petroelje. The service will be preceded by a time of visitation with the family starting at 10:00 am.
Memorial contributions may be given in Elaine’s honor to Calvary Schools of Holland.
