Wallace J. Schumacher

Wallace J. Schumacher, age 72 of Holland, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

He is survived by his wife Karen; his children and grandchildren: Casi and Jason Maronen (Camden, Connor, and Rachel), Wayne and Jeannine Schumacher (Angel), and Amy and Joe Pruyt (Zoie and Abby); his brothers: Dale and Cathey Schumacher, and Duane and Anne Schumacher; his mother-in-law Genny Dugan; his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Robert Dugan, Randy Dugan, Annette, and Steve Lent, and Matt Dugan.

Wally proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ford Motor Corp where he worked for 34 years. Wally loved his family and friends, trail walks, and music. He was an avid golfer and sports fan. He played in many sports leagues over years including golf, softball, and bowling.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
