CUTLERVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 13, 2022) –A non-profit organization based in Ottawa County will be giving away a ‘like new’ rear-entry, handicap assessible van to an Allegan County family in need. Lori’s Voice is presenting the van to Alejandrino and Luis Mateos – both teenagers – both with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The Lori’s Voice team will be on hand to celebrate this lifechanging event, which is set to take place Friday, April 15 The event will happen at Clock Mobility on Clay Avenue SW in Grand Rapids at 4pm.
Lori’s Voice is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was founded and established to help young people with disabilities in West Michigan since 2012. An anonymous donor gave Lori’s Voice a gift of $1 million in the fall of 2021 as well as $100,000 each year for the next 10 years to support the charity’s activities – which include donations of everything from orthotics to these accessible vans.
