Ronald L. Thome

Ron was born in Maywood, Illinois Oct. 21, 1933, to Ronald and Helen (Gruca) Thome. He worked for American Airlines for many years until his retirement.

Preceding him in death was his wife Winifred (Tiedema) Thome; and his son Michael Thome, Sr.

Ron is survived by his daughters, Pamela Temkin and Susan (John) Waha; grandchildren Michael Jr (Virginia) Thome, Max Thome, Brittany (Jose) Tollinchi, Allen (LaQuechia) Decker; great-grandchildren, Madison (Izzy) Martinez, Alexis (R.J.) Hinken, Quincy Thome, Emma Tollinchi, Hannah Tollinchi, Darth Decker, Logan Tollinchi, and Valkyrie Decker; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon Martinez and Rinaya Martinez; many extended family and friends.

A private memorial celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Ron’s honor may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
