HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 20, 2022) – Mission accomplished, the Flying Dutch are back home.
About a hundred fans or so came out on Sunday evening to DeVos Fieldhouse to welcome the Hope College women’s basketball team after they won the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament with a 71-58 victory on Saturday over Wisconsin-Whitewater in Pittsburgh. Coach Brian Morehouse made some remarks in an impromtu rally in front of the facility, saluting a team that won 32 of 33 games this season, as Hope captured its third national women’s title overall and second under Morehouse.
