UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 20, 2022) – Ella McKinney scored 21 points as Hope won the NCAA Division III women’s basketball tournament championship on Saturday with a 71-58 victory over Wisconsin-Whitewater in Pittsburgh. The Flying Dutch won 32 of 33 games en route to the school’s third national title and second under coach Brian Morehouse.
In the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament on Saturday night, Michigan defeated Tennessee, 76-68. Michigan State meets Duke in Greenville, SC on Sunday.

Yanni Gourde tallied twice in a four-goal Seattle third period as the Kraken rallied past the visiting Red Wings on Saturday night, 4-2. Detroit hosts the Philadelphia Flyers at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday evening, with broadcast time at 7:15 PM on 99 7/1450 WHTC.
