HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 18, 2022) – Changes at the top for Holland Hospital are just over the horizon.
The health care facility announced on Friday that Dale Sowders, who had been its president since 2002, will become the CEO and Vice Chair of the hospital’s board, with Senior VP of Hospital Operations Patti VanDort promoted to President, and Senior VP of Operations Mark Pawlak taking over as Executive Vice President. Both VanDort and Pawlak have been with Holland Hospital for 35 and 34 years, respectively. The moves go into effect on April 1st.
“I’m honored and blessed to have worked with this incredible leadership team over the past 20 years,” Sowders said in a hospital statement. “Internal succession will ensure continuity of our outstanding organizational performance, caring culture and commitment to the community.”
Underneath this new executive leadership team will be Chief Nursing Officer Joe Bonello, Vice President of Human Resources and Support Services Sandra Trammell, Vice President of Holland Hospital Medical Group Michelle Doctor, Chief Financial Officer Alex Roehling, and Vice President for Quality, Information Technology, Health Information Management and Risk Rob Schwartz.
