VALLEY TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 11, 2022) – An anxious time for family members of a 13-year-old Allegan County boy has ended.
In a Friday afternoon statement, Allegan County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Brett Ensfield said that, “The juvenile has been located and is safe. The Sheriff’s Office appreciates the tips and help from the community.”
According to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department, Zander Canales was last seen driving away from his Valley Township residence in his father’s 2006 Chrysler 300 on February 2nd. The cream colored sedan with plenty of chrome, an eagle on the front grill, and a cross sticker on the trunk hood was spotted by a citizen in the city of Holland five days later, where family members believed that the teen may have been with some unknown friends.
Ensfield disclosed no other information as to where Canales was found, the circumstances that led to his discovery, or his condition.
