ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 9, 2022) – A long-time public servant in Zeeland will be honored Friday (Feb. 11) afternoon.
That city’s police department will hold an open house in the Howard Miller Community Center from 3 to 5 PM for Lieutenant Tom Ball. He will be retiring on Friday after 34 years on the force, including a stint as the departments DARE officer for several schools, and on two occasions he was the interim Police Chief while a new leader was being sought.
A presentation ceremony is set for 4 PM.
