HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 6, 2022) – It may be the middle of winter right now, but for the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, it’s time to start thinking about its 50th anniversary season.
Season ticket packages for the eight stage presentations, to be held at various on-campus venues between May 19th and August 4th, are now available online. Those shows include: A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Much Ado About Nothing, The Color Purple, Every Brilliant Thing, Hold These Truths, A Night With Alex Thompson, Figaro, and Lulu and the Long Walk. There will also be a radio-style re-creation of “It’s a Wonderful Life” set for December 20th through the 23rd.
In addition, the HSRT has launched what it calls the “most ambitious fundraising campaign ever,” with a goal of $500,000, as officials say that ticket sales only account for half of the theatre’s operating costs. More information on this campaign is available here.
