ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It appears Jim Harbaugh is not heading to the NFL and will be back as the head football coach at the University of Michigan next season.
He was interviewed by the Minnesota Vikings yesterday about their open head coach position. According to multiple sources, Harbaugh contacted UM athletic director Warde Manuel after the meeting and said that he would stay with the school.
Multiple sources say the Vikings are expected to hire Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell after Super Bowl 56. The 36-year-old O’Connell was Washington’s OC in 2019 before taking over the same role with the Rams the last two seasons.
