ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 27, 2022) – A 36-year-old man from the Grand Haven area lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Eric Westveer, deputies and other first-responders were dispatched at 4:12 PM to the area of Lincoln Road and 124th Avenue. “The on-scene investigation showed that a Chevrolet pickup truck with a single occupant was east on Lincoln, approaching 124th Avenue,” Westveer said in a department statement. “The driver lost control, veered to the left and struck a tree. He was ejected from the vehicle upon impact and sustained fatal injuries.”
No further details were disclosed as the crash remains under investigation.
