Pam Meyer, 72, of Zeeland, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
Pam was born November 22, 1949, in Zeeland, to Justin and Virginia (Barnes) Palmbos. She graduated from Zeeland High School in 1967. Pam married John Meyer in 1970 and they raised their three children in Zeeland and were members of First Reformed Church. Pam worked for many years at Russ’ Eastown prior to retiring.
Pam’s faith and family were foremost. She loved spending time with family and attending her grandkid’s athletic events. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws: Arloa Smallegan, Marlene Menken, Chuck Devenport.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John, their children, and grandchildren: Craig & Tiffany Meyer (Justin, Caden, Karsten), Lynne & Mike Wyrick (Leanne, Kayla), Amy Meyer; siblings: Rich & Jan Palmbos, Wanda & Curt Van Noord, Bill & Pam Palmbos, Don & Pat Palmbos; in-laws: Marty Smallegan, Randall Menken, Frank & Sarah Meyer, Sharon & Ron Welch, Marcia & Ron Klein, Laura Devenport, and many extended relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 27, 2022, at First Reformed Church of Zeeland, 125 East Lincoln Ave., Zeeland MI 49464. Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Wednesday, at the Yntema Funeral home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Interment in the Zeeland Felch Street Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Hospital Foundation or Camp Geneva.
