Barbara F. Hamilton, age 66 of Holland, passed away on January 17, 2022, at her home.
She was born in Wayne, MI to Robert and Viola Melvin in 1956. Barbara worked for 10 years as a bus driver for Holland Public Schools and was also involved with their special needs program. She served as a sideline coach for the Special Olympics and during her free time, enjoyed drawing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Missy Lamb, Cathy McFarland; sons, Zacharaiah Hamilton, Ethan Hamilton; granddaughters, Halighee Allen, Baylee Unekis, Katie Verberkmoes; grandson, James Roach; brothers, Chuck (Mary) Melvin, Keith (Cindy) Melvin, Jeff (Candy) Melvin, Tim (Vickie) Melvin along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 22 from 4-7 pm at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel (188 W 32nd Street) in Holland.
