HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 22-year-old Coopersville woman and a 34-year-old Allendale man were hurt in a traffic crash on Lake Michigan Drive at 88th Avenue on Tuesday morning.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cal Keuning indicated police learned the woman was ticketed for causing the crash. Investigators found she’d hit the back end of the Allendale man’s car as he was stopped on Lake Michigan Drive, waiting to turn south onto 88th Avenue.
The Allendale man went by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The Coopersville woman was treated at the scene.
Allendale firefighters and a LIFE EMS crew assisted Sheriff’s deputies at the scene.
