Valerie Sue Klomp, age 67, of Hudsonville, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022.

Val was born in Walker, MI to Arthur and Dorothy Hitchings and was a lifelong resident of the West Michigan area.

Val was fond of horses and became a compassionate trainer, a devoted teacher, and a successful competitor in English and Dressage riding. Her love of animals was ever-present, also shown in her dedication to various companion dogs, including Bearded Collies, Jack Russell Terriers, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
