PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 75-year-old Holland woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash north of Holland on Thursday (Dec. 30, 2021) evening.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Nicholas Knott, deputies and first responders were dispatched to Quincy Street near 152nd Avenue around 5:30 PM. “The investigation at the scene showed that the woman was traveling west on Quincy and lost control of the vehicle after striking slush in the roadway,” Knott said in a department statement. “The vehicle left the roadway, struck a large tree, and rolled.”
The motorist was extricated from her vehicle by rescue personnel and taken to Holland Hospital for treatment of “non-life threatening” injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
