Harlan Schierbeek, 78, of Zeeland, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021.
Harlan was born in Graafschap, on December 2, 1943, to Ralph and Susanna (Scholten) Schierbeek. He started working on the family farm and later worked for Heinz. After 31 years of service at Heinz he retired. Harlan also enjoyed model trains and trucks. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Deb, children: Rick Schierbeek, Patricia (Greg) Riemersma, Mike (Tina) Schierbeek, Shawn Williams, Jessica Morrow, and James Utrup, Brandon Williams, Bobbi Williams, and Cody McCoy; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson, siblings Justin Schierbeek, Beatrice De Weerd, Lori Van Tubbergen; and many extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464.
