Clarence Jager, 93, of Zeeland, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021.
Clarence was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 20, 1928, to Henry G. and Jennie (Boersma) Jager. Clarence served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Henrietta Bultman and they raised their three children in Zeeland. Clarence worked at Herman Miller and following his retirement he worked at Family Fare. He was a longtime member of First Christian Reformed Church of Zeeland. Henrietta preceded him in death in 2010.
Clarence is survived by his children: Carol and William De Boer of Wayland, Karen Jager of Holland, Carl and Lois Jager of West Olive; five grandchildren: Holly and Jeremy De Young, Tim and Amber Jager, Mike and Julie Jager, Brandee Moore, Jessica, and Paul Smith; great-grandchildren: Allison Jager, Adam Jager, Rubi Smith, Abby Smith, Ally Smith; sister-in-law Carolyn Jager.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at First Christian Reformed Church of Zeeland, 15 S. Church Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Tuesday at First CRC, and 12:00-12:45 prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
