HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Zeeland’s annual Christmas tree lighting is set for 6:15 p.m. today at the city’s splashpad.
The city’s annual Magical Christmas Parade steps off at 6:30 down Main Avenue, featuring walking groups, marching bands, and some creative entries, with Santa Claus toward the end.
On Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, it’s a Parade of Lights along downtown Holland’s Eighth Street at 6:30 p.m. Santa Claus’ visit will feature 75 entries, including floats, trucks, antique cars, marching bands and walkers.
This parade starts at Eighth Street and Columbia Avenue, heading west down to the Holland Civic Center Place, which annually hosts the Holiday Kerstmarkt.
The Saugatuck-Douglas annual Whootville Christmas Parade starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, with the line-up at 12:30 p.m. at Wicks Park on Water Street in the Mermaid Restaurant parking lot. Everyone is invited to join the parade and wear festive Whootville and/or Christmas attire.
This parade goes south on Water Street, turning left onto Butler Street, north to U.S. Post Office; left onto Mary Street, left onto Water Street, and ends at Wicks Park.
