HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s officials are looking for the driver of a Dodge Avenger who it a tree at 3:43 a.m. Sunday, then fled, leaving the car’s seriously injured passenger, a 19-year-old Flint woman,behind
Deputies dispatched to the scene, at West Campus Drive, just west of 48th Avenue in Allendale Township, determined the driver lost control on the icy road. The Avenger hit a tree. The driver fled on foot, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill.
LIFE EMS rushed the Flint woman to Spectrum Butterworth in Grand Rapids for treatment of her injuries. Her current condition unknown.
Police would like to hear directly from the involved driver. Barring that, anyone with any information about the driver is urged to call Silent Observer at (877) 887-4536. This crash remains under investigation.

Maybe this person did not flee the scene. Might possibly went for help and was seriously injured themself. Hopefully this was already thought out and someone is searching for the possibility they may be laying out in the cold.
