HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 21-year-old Grand Rapids man was seriously hurt after losing control of his vehicle and crossing Cottonwood Drive’s centerline Monday evening.
His 2017 Infinity hit two other vehicles, a 2012 Honda with a 45-year-old Hudsonville woman at the wheel and a 2009 Toyota with a 35-year-old Jenison woman at the wheel. He was pinned inside his vehicle and was hospitalized. His passenger from Novi also sought treatment for his injuries and a Jenison woman driving one of the other vehicles also suffered minor injuries.
After being freed by Georgetown Fire he was went by LIFE EMS to an area hospital. His passenger, a 21-year-old Novi man, suffered minor injuries and told police he’d seek treatment on his own.
The Jension woman went by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Lt. Eric Westveer. The Hudsonville woman and a passenger in her car, a 50-year-old Hudsonville man, were not physically hurt.
The crash happened just before 6:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, near Bauer Road in Georgetown Township.
