LAS VEGAS, NV (WKZO AM/FM) – In college basketball action, sixth-ranked University of Michigan was upset by Arizona 80-62 Sunday in the championship game of the Roman Main Event in Las Vegas.
U-M shot just 1-for-14 from the 3-point line and was outrebounded 37-30.
The Wolverines fell to 3-and-2 on the season. They will host Tarleton Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Michigan State University is back in action Wednesday facing Loyola Chicago in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas.
The Spartans sit at 3-and-1.
