HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Township’s board of trustees is set to meet at 7 p.m. today at the township offices.
The agenda includes an applications for a tax abatement from Ensign Equipment for about a million dollars. The company’s application indicates a planned renovation and a promise to add six jobs by 2025.
Township trustees will consider rezoning a 40-acre parcel of land next to the Knollwood subdivision on Ottogan Road, from agricultural to moderate density, residential. There’s a proposed single-family development on the table. Residents in neighboring communities have expressed concerns about the increased traffic such a development would bring to the area.
