Yvonne Van Den Berg, age 90, of Holland, passed away, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Appledorn Assisted Living. She was born in Beaverdam, Michigan to Willis and Fannie Zwagerman on June 23, 1931.
Yvonne was a member of Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church for 62 years. She was very involved with her church and was instrumental in starting the Calvinette program with friend Sharon Machiela. She worked at Jack’s Restaurant/Beechwood Inn for 30 years before retiring. Yvonne loved to spend time golfing and camping with her siblings and friends and loved a good competitive game of cards! She was an incredible baker and passed that talent on to her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will dearly be missed.
Yvonne is survived by devoted and loving husband of 68 years, Bernard Van Den Berg.

She is preceded in death by her parents Willis and Fannie Zwagerman, sisters, Carolyn Walters and Noreen Weener, brother, Willis “Pete” Zwagerman, brothers-in-law, Eugene Walters and Charles Hoezee.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, at Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Brady Mulder officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:30 am with the service beginning at 11:30 am. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery at 3:00 pm. The funeral ceremony will be available for viewing on the Noordeloos Church website. Memorial contributions may be made to Noordeloos CRC, Hospice of Holland, or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the auspices of the Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel.
