HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A three-car crash sent a 39-year-old Holland woman and 6-year-old boy went to Holland Hospital for treatment of injuries after a Halloween Day.
The crash happened just before 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at the intersection of 144th Avenue and Quincy Street in Holland Township, when the Holland woman was unable to stop for an Audi that slowed to avoid a dog, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
The force of the crash sent the woman’s car across the center line, where a Ford with a 81-year-old Holland resident at the wheel hit the Nissan. The Holland woman and boy had to be extricated from the Nissan by Holland Township firefighters.
They went by ambulance to Holland Hospital with what police called serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
