HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 15-year-old Wright Township girl, Abigail Hernandez-Alcantara, is missing, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Jake Sparks.
Her nickname is Abby and she is pregnant, police say. She left home on Oct. 13, 2021, early in the morning, but never boarded her school bus and was believed to have gone to Belding, MI, for a time.
No foul play is suspected, according to police, and she’s not believed to be in any danger. Sheriff’s detectives are working with the Belding and Lowell police, as well as her family, school and friends, to try to find her.
Abby Hernandez-Alcantara is described as an Hispanic female, 5-foot-1 tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen on the 1100 block of Kenwood Ave. in Belding on Oct. 20, 2021.
