DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Overall first draft pick Cade Cunningham could make his Detroit Pistons debut near the end of the month.
He injured his ankle at the beginning of training camp and did not play during the preseason or in last night’s regular season opener.
General manager Troy Weaver said yesterday that the hope is that Cunningham will be ready after Detroit’s first road trip.
The Pistons visit Chicago, Atlanta, and Philadelphia before returning home on October 30.
