Community support continues to grow the catering business, which now has a food truck in demand across West Michigan.

Pack up the family and head to downtown Holland for pumpkin carvers, street performers, pumpkin painting, a pumpkin toss contest, and even a candy-in-the-haystack hunt. The fest also includes downtown walking tours, and a Fall Artisan Market. Don’t feel like walking to the Farmers Market from downtown? Hop on a hay wagon that will take you there. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 9: 25th Annual White Lake Area PumpkinFest, Downtown Montague (registration at Ferry and Dowling streets). A full day of family-friendly pumpkin-inspired events and contests: pumpkin roll, pumpkin painting, pumpkin carving, pumpkin seed-spitting contest, pumpkin weigh-ins, and pet costume contest.
