HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Herrick District Library’s LEGO Wind Racers program will use the interlocking blocks to help kids experiment and learn about physics on Saturday, Oct 16, 2021.
Kids ages 5 to 10 will be able to work together to create wind racers out of LEGOS and problem-solve, said library assistant Anne Pott.
“We love to give kids the opportunity to experiment and learn through hands-on experience. This activity involves design, physics, and lots of trial and error which is how we learn,” Pott said, in a statement share by Herrick District Library.
Kids who enjoy building and tinkering will enjoy the program, she said. LEGO Wind Racers will be in the main floor meeting room of the main HDL building, 300 S. River Ave. 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.
Registration is required and underway. Those who registered can drop in to the program between 11 a.m. and noon. Masks are required for all older than 2 years old, regardless of vaccination status.
