JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s spokesman accused Iran on Monday of attempting an attack on Israelis living in Cyprus.
Denying local media reports about the thwarting of a criminally-motivated assassination attempt against an Israeli magnate on the island, the spokesman, Matan Sidi, said in a statement: “This was a terrorist incident directed by Iran against Israeli businesspeople.”
