HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A Grand Haven man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a crash Thursday, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jon Knott.
Police learned a 63-year-old Nunica man failed to yield to traffic at the corner of eastbound Cleveland, as he was turning north onto Patchin Boulevard in Crockery Township.
The Nunica mans’ care hit a westbound car with a 79-year-old Grand Haven man at the wheel. The crash caused the Grand Haven man’s car to catch fire.
Crockery and Spring Lake Fire Departments put out the fire. The Grand Haven man went by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
